This website does not collect personal information from your computer, aside from the Internet Protocol (IP) address of the computer you use to browse and request pages from our servers and any other information you give us. This means that, unless you voluntarily provide us with your personal data, we should not know your name, your email address, or any other additional personal information. When you request a page from our website, our servers log the IP address, the time of the request, the URL of your request and related information. If you call us, or if we call you, we may record the call and we will treat the data you give us on the call in accordance with this Statement too. We will use your email address to send a confirmation and, if necessary, might use the other information to contact you for help in processing. On occasion, we use third parties to provide, or confirm for us, contact information to add to the information you provided to us directly. We may then also use this information for market analysis and marketing purposes. In addition, when you provide contact details for transaction requests, such as scheduling an appointment or requesting a proposal, we will use the contact information to keep you updated about future offers or promotions unless you opt-out online or otherwise notify us.

Create an Account Profile

Owners of our properties may, at their choice, create a personal account profile online within our password-accessed Owners Clubhouse. Creating an account profile makes it more convenient for you by eliminating the need to repeatedly enter personal contact or preference information. In addition, if you choose, you can perform certain functions within your account, such as making maintenance fee payments via this website. The security of this information is addressed in the security section below. You can access and review, update or deactivate the information in your account profile online.

If you log on to the Owner's Clubhouse, you will need your email address and password to see or edit your personal details. Where you have chosen a password, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. Please do not use the same password for the Owners Clubhouse as you use for other sites, for example for social networks. Please do not share your password with anyone. You will be responsible for all of the activity in the Owners Clubhouse using your password. If you think that your password may have been compromised, please tell us immediately. Sending information via the Internet is never completely secure. Although we will do our best to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee the security of your data. Once you have completed your visit to the Owners Clubhouse and to ensure all confidential information is removed, we recommend that you log out of the Owners Clubhouse and close all browsers. We recommend that you do not access the Owners Clubhouse from a shared computer or via an unsecured public Wi-Fi network.

We treat the information you provide to us as confidential; but the Internet is not secure, and you should exercise caution when sending us information by email or online. Because laws applicable to personal information vary by country, additional measures that change depending on the applicable legal requirements may be put in place. Information is generally processed and stored in the state of Florida in the United States and in Cork, Ireland.   • Forward the email to the U.S. Federal Trade Commission at spam@uce.gov or call +1-877-FTC-HELP (+1-877-382-4357) to report it. The FTC uses the spam stored in this database to pursue law enforcement actions against people who send deceptive email.
  • Delete the email.

If you believe "phishers" have accessed your personal or financial information, we recommend that you also do the following:

  • Change your password.
  • Contact credit reporting services and have a fraud alert attached to your credit report file. Please be aware that the perpetrator may attempt to use your information to establish accounts or obtain credit at other businesses in their name.

Transmission and Storage of Information

Although we treat the information you provide to us as confidential; it is, important to remember that the Internet is not secure. When we ask you for credit card data, it is important to send that information over an encrypted connection from your Internet browser (such as Microsoft Internet Explorer, Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox). We also use encrypted communications across select pages where you would enter personal data. This should ensure that your information is encrypted as it travels over the Internet. This encrypted mode should be enabled before any such information is transmitted from your computer. You will know you are in encrypted mode when the padlock or key icon in the lower right-hand or left-hand corner of the computer screen appears in the locked position. After information reaches us, it is stored on a secure server that resides behind firewalls designed to block unauthorized access from outside.

Disclosure of Information to Third Parties

Careers at Marriott Vacations Worldwide Corporation

We use select databases and tools hosted by third parties on our websites to collect information from individuals that wish to be considered for potential employment. We ask the third-party service providers not to use the information you provide for any purpose other than collecting it on our behalf.

If you use the website to apply to work with us, we will use the information you supply to process your application and to monitor recruitment statistics. As a global business, we may transfer your details outside of your home country and to other companies in the MVWC family. When we want to disclose information to a third party, for example, where we want to take up a reference, we will not do so without informing you first unless the disclosure is required by law. Personal information about unsuccessful candidates will be held for up to 12 months after the recruitment exercise has been completed, it will then be destroyed or deleted. We retain depersonalized statistical information about applicants to help inform our recruitment activities and to monitor our commitment to diversity, but individuals should not be identifiable from that data.

Once a person has taken up employment with us, we will compile a file relating to their employment. At that stage, we will give more details about how we hold employee data.
